Margaret "Peg" McDonald, 94, of Brilliant, Ohio passed away Wednesday March 20, 2019 at the Carriage Inn of Steubenville.

She was born February 26, 1925 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Michael Kucer and Helen (Kachur) Kucer Vohar. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Elmer McDonald; a brother Michael Kucer; five sisters, Mary Johns, Kathryn Paszko, Ann Verba, Helen Casey and Agnes Firman. She was greeted in heaven by her beloved dog, Zoey.

Peg was a homemaker and enjoyed working with her flowers.

Surviving are a son, James (Kathy) McDonald of Wintersville, OH; a daughter, Barbara Schratz of Carlisle, PA; four grandchildren, Jodi (Dave) Roush, Tommy Schratz, Susie Schratz and Jason McDonald; and six great-grandchildren, Christina and Hunter Roush, Jacob, Nicholas, Josh and Jennifer Schratz; and a special niece, Sherry Chappano of Mingo Junction, OH.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at Noon with Pastor Sam Davis, officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
