Margaret "Peggy" (Giblon) Kovach Cologne, 75, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Friday July 16, 2021 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born July 26, 1945 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Charles and Edith M. (Ferguson) Giblon. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Cologne on June 8, 2008.

Peggy retired from the Family Birth Center at Trinity Medical Center West where she was an STNA. She was Methodist by Faith and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Georgette Billham of Dover, OH; a son, George C. Kovach, II of Mingo Junction, OH; three step-sons, James Wenner and Thomas Wenner of Toronto, OH and Robert Wenner of El Paso, TX; a step-daughter, Mrs. Susan Harrison of Cincinnati, OH; a brother, Charles "Bruce" Giblon of Tallahassee, FL; six grandchildren, Stephen Kovach, Christopher Kovach, Christina Cox, Courtney Dague, Siearra Kovach and Shiann Kovach; two step-grandchildren, Adam and Zachary Wenner; thirteen great-grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH, Tuesday July 20 from 11:00 am until the time of her funeral services at 2:00 pm with Pastors Robert Ferguson & Paul David Ferguson, officiating. Private interment at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.
