Linda L. Sterling, 72, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the home of her daughter Michelle, with her family by her side.

She was born December 14, 1946 in Martins Ferry, OH, a daughter of the late Willis E. Calhoun and Martha M. (Haynes) Calhoun Keadle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Sterling in 1986; two brothers, Russell A. "Tony" Calhoun and John R. Calhoun; and a sister, Brenda Kay Patton.

Linda was a homemaker and Lutheran by Faith.

Surviving are three daughters, Jamie Morris of Wintersville, OH, Michelle Belon and her companion John Chandler of Steubenville, OH and Jodi Bruce and her companion Bill VanCamp of Bethany WV; an adopted daughter, Terry Norman of Clarington, OH; a brother, Willis E. Calhoun of Mingo Junction, OH; a step-sister, Georgia Lee (Steve) Harvey of Grafton, WV; two grandsons, whom she raised, John Russell "Rusty" (Debbie) Calhoun of Smithfield and James Bruce of Steubenville, OH; a special niece, Patti Dulaney of Brilliant, OH; ten grandchildren, Chad Bone, James Belon, Brooke (Kyle) Scott, Kevin Belon, Jr., Austin, Michael and Matthew Belon, Jaymes and Olivia Chandler, Gunner and Shantel Snider; and three great-granddaughters, Madison Tolman, Arria and Karysn Scott.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant on Monday November 4th from 5:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Ater, officiating. Private interment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
