Linda Lee Acconcia, 73, of Steubenville Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday October 15, 2021, surrounded by her family and loved ones, at Select Specialty Hospital in Weirton, WV.

Linda was born on June 2, 1948 in Steubenville, OH a daughter of the late Alex Marshall and Pauline (Dewit) Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol; her husband, James Acconcia, Sr.; and her son-in-law, Mark Waltz.

Linda grew up in Steubenville, a town she loved and never left. She owned the Conch's Avalon Bar in Mingo Junction, Ohio for 26 years and she enjoyed spending time with her family and her dogs (Baby & Lexi), breeding Pugs & Yorkies, and shopping. Linda was a strong woman and a beautiful soul. She will be dearly missed and always remembered.

She is survived by her two children, Renea Waltz and Antonino Acconcia, both of Steubenville, OH; two sisters, Darlene (Ralph) Boyd of Dillonvale, OH and Paula (Ken) Valuska of Toldeo, OH; three grandchildren, Alexander, Allyson, and Abigail; four great grandchildren, Aleecia, Axel, Asher, and Aysin; and many nieces & nephews.

Linda requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to the traditional funeral services. We request that all of Linda's loved ones please wear Linda's favorite color purple and join us in celebrating her beautiful life at her daughter's home, 431 Henry Ave., Steubenville on Wednesday October 20th from 5:30pm to 8pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations to assist Linda's family during this difficult time may be made on our funeral home website on her obituary page or mailed to the funeral home.
