Lillian A. "Lil" Kovach, 91, of Brilliant, OH passed away Saturday June 3, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

She was born November 7, 1925 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph and Elsie (VanDyke) Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Kovach; a sister, Audrey Malesick; a son-in-law, Ronald Jaros; three step-sons, Fred, Gary and Bruce Kovach; a niece, Barbara Worrell; and a nephew, Joseph LaRue.

Lillian was a homemaker and Methodist by Faith. She loved to play bingo and was an avid reader. In her younger days she enjoyed going to Senior Swim at Aracoma Park.

Surviving are a daughter, Carole Jaros of New Alexandria, OH; a sister, Joann (Bill) LaRue of Brilliant, Ohio; two nieces, Cathy (Harold) Woodward and Nancy Malesick; and a nephew, George "Lash" (Sandy) LaRue.

Friends will be received at the mausoleum chapel at Fort Steuben Burial Estates on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at Noon, with Pastor Bob Carson, officiating.
