Lester E. Flanagan, 70, of Riddles Run, OH, passed away peacefully Monday February 11, 2019 at home.

He was born Flag Day June 14, 1948 in Marietta, OH, a son of the late Harold and Lena (Stock) Flanagan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Flanagan.

Although never married, Lester was preceded in death by his loving partner for over 25 years, Betty Uselton. Even though he and Betty never had any children he did have ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren due to his extended family.

He lived his last 10 years with Betty's son and his best friend, David Roscoe. Lester enjoyed fishing on the boat, playing cards, cutting grass, weed eating, taking care of the home place as well as spending time with his loving family.

Surviving are three sisters, Betty Lou Grim, Mary Dinch and Eunice Straight; and two brothers, Bobby and Johnny Flanagan.

Friends are invited to celebrate Lester's life on Sunday February 17th at the Riddles Run House of Prayer at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jack Jackson, officiating.
