Laura Ellen Miles, 89, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2024 at the Steubenville Country Club Manor.

She was born June 19, 1934, in Smithfield, Ohio, a daughter of the late William and Wilma (Shaw) Clark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy E. Miles on May 4, 2013; a daughter, Patty Bell on November 25, 2022; three brothers, William, Charles "Chuck" and Paul "PC" Clark; and an infant sister, Helen Irene Clark.

Laura enjoyed taking care of people, playing solitaire, word search puzzles, going to the Mingo Senior Center, visiting Amish Country and spending time with her family.

Surviving are a son, John (Cheryl) Miles of Champaign, IL; two daughters, Mickey (Chris) Lash of Richmond, OH and Sam (Michael) Bell of Mingo Junction, OH; two brothers, Owen Clark of Jacksonville, NC and Clarence Clark of Pensacola, FL; eleven grandchildren, Daniel (Carrie) Kish, Robert "Bobby" (Sarah) Channels, Jonathon (Julia) Miles, Aaron (Lindsey) Channels, Joshua Channels, Zachery (Melissa) Miles, Skyler Bell and his companion Breanna Arthurs, Ava and Pyper Bell, Angel and Myles; and nine great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Piper, Kason, Weston, Jasmine, Camden, Nevaeh, Mia and Carter.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jimm Woods, officiating. Private interment at Northern Cemetery in Smithfield, OH.
