Kathryn (Owen) McCain, 102, of New Alexandria, Ohio passed away Thursday March 28, 2019 in Martha Manor, Steubenville, OH

She was born September 28, 1916 in Wellsburg, WV, a daughter of the late William F. and Mary D. (Stidd) Owens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William E. McCain whom passed away on Feb. 4, 2001; two brothers, an infant John Frederick Owen and William Owen; and a sister, Dorothy Albaugh.

Kathryn was a retired secretary with 25 years of service for the Buckeye Local School District.

Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn McCain of Steubenville, OH; several nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Andy and Janet Pavlov of New Alexandria, OH; and a special nephew, Richard (Luann) Owen of Steubenville, OH.

The family would like to thank Martha Manor for the wonderful care they gave Kathryn over the past few years.

Friends will be received at the mausoleum chapel at Fort Steuben Burial Estates on Monday April 1st from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle, officiating
