JOYCE I. JACKSON, 70, Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017 in Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, surrounded by her Loving Family.

She was born Dec. 16, 1946, in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Jesse A. & Betty I. (Young) Bonar.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon S. Jackson, a daughter Julie Peck; three sisters; and two brothers.

Joyce was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family & Foster children.  She was a member of the Riddles Run House of Prayer

Surviving are six daughters , Leitha (Gary) Vinka, Yorkville, Victoria Boohner, Steubenville, Helen Jackson, Wellsburg, Tina (Richie) Farnsworth, Steubenville, Mary Staton, Mingo & Sarah Peck Steubenville; three sons, Dennis Randall Bernardi, Zachariah Jackson & Vernon J. Jackson, all of Mingo; two brothers, Richard Bonar, Mingo & Franklin (Liz) Bonar, Riddles Run, and Many Grandchildren & Great-Grandchildren.

Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 Sunday, at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, where services will be held Monday at 2:00PM, with Rev. Jack Jackson , officiating.  Interment will follow in New Alexandria Cemetery.
