Joseph R. "Joe" Fithen, 55, of New Alexandria, OH, passed away Friday September 24, 2021 at Trinity Medical Center in Steubenville, OH.

He was born September 14, 1966 in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Ethel (Hudson) Fithen and Birchard R. Fithen, Sr. of Steubenville, OH. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a niece, Jessica Mayle.

Joe enjoyed listening to a variety of music, he loved reading Stephen King novels and spending time with his niece Mia.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Renee (Mayle) Fithen, whom he married on September 14, 2018; a brother Birchard R. "Birch" Fithen, Jr. of Steubenville, OH; his niece, Mia Fithen; a brother-in-law, Robert "Bub" (Mary Kay) Mayle, Jr.; a nephew, Robert "Bo" (Presley) Mayle, III; and great-nephew and niece, Asher and Emersyn Mayle.
