John D. "Jackie" Roman, 56, of Richmond, OH, passed away Sunday May 14, 2023 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

He was born August 26, 1966 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Fred M. and Rayvonna (Barton) Roman, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Fred M. "Turby" Roman, Jr.

Jackie was a former cook at Naples Spaghetti House in Steubenville. He was Protestant by Faith and used to enjoy building models.

He is survived by a brother, Gary Roman of Richmond, OH; two sisters, Marlene Roscoe of Wintersville, OH and Deborah (Charles) Haese of Amsterdam, OH; a son, Brian Roman; a step-son, Jeremy Huntington; and seven step-grandchildren.

There will be no services. Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home.
