John C. Clark, 51, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Monday March 14, 2022 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA, surrounded by his family.

He was born July 21, 1970 in Bellaire, OH, a son of Kenneth R. "Ken" Clark, Sr. of Brilliant, OH and Mary Ann (Travis) McDonald of Mingo Junction, OH. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth R. Clark, Jr. and a sister, Margaret Ann Howard.

John worked for 30 years at Highland Hills Cemetery in Follansbee, WV where he was a grounds keeper. He also worked at the Townhouse in Mingo as a short order cook. John was a member of the Schutzen Club and enjoyed shooting pool in leagues. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.

Surviving are two children, Braylynn Clark and her companion Ryan Brindley of Follansbee, WV and Jonathon M. Clark of Mingo Junction, OH; two siblings, Mary Wilson of Mingo Junction, OH and Mark (Jodi) Clark of Steubenville, OH; step-daughter, Miranda Risdon; step-granddaughter, Ellison;  nine nieces and nephews, Ashley Wilson, Landen Wilson, Renee Staudacher, Brent Staudacher, Jeffrey Howard, Markie (Dylan) Forrester, Miah Clark, Carson Clark and Jace Clark; and eleven great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and also on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Doc Roe, officiating.
