Jean E. Cornelius, 79, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Sunday November 14, 2021 Sienna Hills Nursing Home in Adena, OH.

She was born June 20, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late John Gossett and Jessie M. (McConnell) Gossett Cash. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Cornelius on October 18, 2015; and two sisters, Joanne Dolphi Barton and Jane E. Crownover.

Jean went to the former Ohio Valley Nursing School. She was a registered nurse at the former Ohio Valley Hospital and then retired from East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH.

Surviving are a daughter, April Cornelius of Massachusetts; a son, Ryan (Kelli) Cornelius of Washington State; a granddaughter, Shelby Green of Brilliant, OH; and a sister, Candy Hibbs of New Manchester, WV.

In following with Jean's request there will be no service.
