James "Jim" Keenan, 64, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away peacefully Friday, May 8, 2020 at home.
He was born August 3, 1955 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Robert J. Keenan and Delores (Kelly) Keenan of Steubenville, OH. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Keenan; a father- and mother-in-law John and Delores Andriano; a brother-in-law, Tony Andriano; a brother-in-law, Gary Gotschall; and a niece, Pamela Gotschall Shoemaker.
Jim retired from the Motor Management Department at Weirton Steel Corp. in 2004. Afterwords, he worked various jobs including teaching at John Marshall High School in Moundsville, WV and finally retired from Bulldog Rack in Weirton, WV. He graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1973 and received two Associates degrees from the former Jefferson Technical College in Steubenville. Jim was an avid golfer and he enjoyed playing the piano. He also loved the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Penguins, and Notre Dame football. He enjoyed planning family trips to Disney World and beating his friends at euchre.
Surviving are his wife, Judi (Andriano) Keenan whom he married February 24, 1992; a daughter, Sarah Keenan of the home; a brother, Robert M. Keenan and his wife Nancy M. Gallagher of Wintersville, OH; a sister-in-law, Diane Keenan of Columbus, OH; two nieces, Christy (Doug Smart) and Patricia Keenan of NH and NY; one nephew, Mike (Becky) Keenan; two sister-in-law's, Alice Gotschall, and Jeannette Roberts; a brother-in-law, John (Stella) Andriano; many other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and doggy companions, Callie and Brandy Keenan. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and close family friend, Lisa Lupinetti.
Private family services will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
