"Jamie" Moffat
May 12, 1955 – June 15, 2025
James A. "Jamie" Moffat, 70, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Sunday June 15, 2025 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.
He was born May 12, 1955, in Steubenville, OH a son of the late Allan G. and Ruby (Sizemore) Moffat. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Rae (Rupert) Moffat; a daughter, Ashlee Rae Miller; and a sister, Patricia Ann "Patty" Moffat.
Jamie was a truck driver for 40 years, retiring from Hilltrux out of Lisbon, OH. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Jamie was Christian by Faith and in his later years became an ordained minister. He was a member of Parks in the Air. Jamie enjoyed building all things electronic, including R.C. cars, computers and ham radios. He also enjoyed building drag racecars.
Surviving are a son, Allan (Jolene) Moffat of Wintersville, OH; a daughter, Jamie Lin Moffat of Wintersville, OH; a brother, Kyle Moffat of Mingo Junction, OH; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren, with one more great-grandchild on the way.
The family is inviting everyone to attend church services at Harmony Church on Sunday June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. During the service they will be remembering Jamie's life.
