Helen Parrish, 83, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Tuesday March 20, 2018 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio. She was born January 31, 1935 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late John and Anna Marie (Rossi) DiCenzo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jake" Parrish on April 18, 1999; two brothers, Daniel and James DiCenzo; and a sister, Betty Ann O'Leary. Helen retired after 55 years working at Grey Drug and Arnas Pharmacy in Steubenville. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Leslie Parrish of Carlsbad, NM; a son, John (Renee) Parrish of St. Clarisville, OH; a granddaughter, Brianna Parrish of Columbus, OH; and a sister, Joann DiCenzo of Steubenville, OH.

Friends will be received on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction. On Tuesday everyone please meet at St. Agnes Catholic Church for her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction. There will be a Vigil service on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
