Helen M. Colvin, 85, Brilliant, OH, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb 6, 1937, in Foley, Alabama, a daughter of the late Hugh S. & Loretta Sawyer Metcalf. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mike Colvin, in 2021; two brothers; and two sisters.

Helen was a devoted servant of our Lord Jesus Christ, a faithful and loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was also a member of the Evangel Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Pastor Bob Colvin, whom she married on August 25, 1958; two sons, Robert "Bert" (Christi) Colvin of Bloomingdale, OH, and Pastor Timothy Colvin of Follansbee, WV; a daughter, Misty Doty of Brilliant, OH; a daughter-In-law, Rebecca Colvin of Harrisburg, PA; and six grandchildren, Garrett (Abby) Colvin of Akron, OH, Michaela (Zach) Watkins of Bergholz, OH, Emily and Joel Colvin of Harrisburg, PA, Thomas (Emily) Doty of Lexington, KY and Wyatt Doty of Brilliant, OH.

Friends are invited to celebrate Helen's life on Saturday June 25th at 11:00 at the Evangel Baptist Church, 204 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062. A luncheon will follow the services at the church.
