Helen A. Czoka, 86, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Wednesday January 7, 2026 at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

She was born May 25, 1939 in Dillonvale, OH, a daughter of the late Edward and Sophie (Supinski) Chmelovsky, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael John Czoka on Jan. 21, 2014; a daughter, Michelle Lynn Czoka; a son, Michael Edward Czoka; a brother, Edward Chmelovsky, Jr.; and a sister, RoseMary Faldowski.

Helen was a homemaker and a member of the former Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and St. Agnes Catholic Church. She enjoyed doing ceramics, playing bingo, going out to eat, shopping at Boscovs, and mostly spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Horsburgh of Mingo Junction, OH; a brother, John Chmelovsky of Nixa, MO; a sister-in-law, Priscilla Friedrichs of Steubenville, OH; two grandchildren, Kyle Horsburgh and his companion Danielle Southerland and Kree (Nick) DeMartin; three great-grandchildren, Karsyn VanAuken, Eddie DeMartin and Colton Stasivlewicz; and a goddaughter, Nichole Goldsmith.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, officiating. Private interment at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain, OH.
