Gary M. "Bubbi" Hellock, 39, of Steubenville, OH passed away suddenly from heart complications on Friday August 7, 2020 with a line in the water doing what he loved most while vacationing with his family in Redington Beach, Florida.

He was born July 19, 1981 in Steubenville, Ohio. He was employed by Insulators Local 2 out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Bubbi enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially his sister Jenna who was his world and everyone that knew him, knows how important she was to him.

When he wasn't hunting or fishing, he was rooting for Pitt and Tampa Bay.

Surviving are his mother and step-father, Denise (Jeffrey) Hellock Tate of Mingo Junction, OH; his father, Gary Johnston of Steubenville, OH; his sister, Jenna (Joe) Stuart of New Alexandria, OH; his grandpappy, Sammie Tate of New Cumberland, WV; his girlfriend Danielle Seals and her son Dominic of McDonald, PA; and his beloved cat, Chronic.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and also on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jason Elliott, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, OH.

Masks are required and visitors are asked not to linger after paying their respects.
