Faith M. "Chick" Zambon, 93, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away peacefully Wednesday June 19, 2024 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville.

She was born February 3, 1931 in Warnock, OH, a daughter of the late Joseph and Emma Leona (Anderson) Turki. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Lee Zambon; a brother, Jesse Turki; and a sister, Dale Six.

Faith was a homemaker and her kids biggest cheerleader. She was a former member of the Mingo First United Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She is a current member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Steubenville. Faith was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Meals on Wheels distributor. She enjoyed fishing, loved her flowers, was the best baker, and enjoyed painting Christmas scenes on her front picture window.

Surviving are her husband of 73 years, Ernie "Babe" Zambon, Sr., whom she married February 24, 1951; three children, Joyce (Don) Bulford of Alabaster, AL, Ernest (Mary Jo) Zambon, Jr. of Steubenville, OH and Amy (Tom) Long of Wintersville, OH; a sister, Joette (the late Henry) DiNofrio of Dover, OH; four grandchildren, Donald (fiancé Mary) Bulford, Philip (Shana) Bulford, Ernest "Joe" (Cecille) Zambon, III and Nicholas Zambon; and three great-grandchildren, Taylor Bulford, Maylin Bulford and Bre Zambon.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH where her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ronal Pritts, officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
