Eric W. Hall, 68, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday January 4, 2022 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West, Steubenville, OH.

He was born August 26, 1953 in Wheeling, WV, a son of the late Sherman and Helen (Obney) Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Tyree.

Eric served his country in the U.S. Army Special Forces. He was a retired self-employed truck driver. Eric was a member of the Schutzen Club and an avid gun and knife collector.

Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Cummings of Bloomingdale, OH and Magan Hall of Green, OH; two siblings, Noreen (Jay) Marsh of Dayton, OH and Daniel Hall of Mingo Junction, OH; six grandchildren, Cheyenne (Jamey) Devaul, Justin Cummings, Jayden and Cayden Hall, and Bryce and Brodie Cunningham; and a great-granddaughter, Scarlett Devaul.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. there will be Military Honors by the Ohio Valley Veterans Memorial Squad, then funeral services with Tony Tyree, officiating. Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery. Masks are required at the funeral home.
