Elizabeth B. "Betty" Marracino, 83, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Saturday April 15, 2017 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born August 7, 1933 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Anthony D. and Margaret R. (Farkas) Belfiore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Marracino.

Betty was a retired registered nurse at the former Ohio Valley Hospital and the former St. Johns Hospital. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the Ohio Valley Hospital/Trinity School of Nursing Alumni Association.

Surviving are two sons, William A. (Angela) Marracino of Mingo Junction, OH and Michael Marracino of Livingston, MT; two daughters, Patricia (Russell) Hyde of Mingo Junction, OH and Mary Beth Marracino and her companion Joe Lauri of Steubenville, OH; a brother, James (Jean) Belfiore of Jacksonville, NC; five grandchildren, Lauren and Matthew Marracino, Michael (Brittany), Natalie and Rachel Terenzetti; three step-grandchildren, Kristen, Michael (Megan), and Ryan Hyde; and one step-great-grandson, Lian Hyde-Anderson.

Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction. On Thursday there will be viewing at St. Agnes Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.

There will be a Vigil service on Wednesday at 7:45 p.m.
