Deborah J. "Debbie" Walkup, 69, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born February 12, 1953 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Willis M. and Christine (Lamm) Shaffer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Kirkland; two brothers, Lonnie E. "Gene" Shaffer and Robert Shaffer; and a granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Kirkland.

Debbie retired in 2021 from Bukmir Pharmacy in Brilliant where she was a Pharmacy Assistant.

Surviving are her husband, Paul E. Walkup, whom she married on August 24, 1978; a daughter, Chrissy (Gio) Lumacang of Benson, NC; a son, John Walkup of Weirton, WV; an adopted son, Will Beaumont of Weirton, WV; a brother, James Shaffer of Toronto, OH; and three grandchildren, Kaylee Norris, JT Norris and Leilani Lumacang.

Private interment at New Alexandria Cemetery.
