David A. Connell, 51, of Brilliant, Ohio passed away Wednesday January 13, 2016 at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio.

He was born August 22, 1964 in Steubenville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde Raymond "Ray" Connell, Jr.; and a brother, Lawrence R. Connell.

David was a Sheet Metal Worker for Local #33, his current employer was N.F. Mansuetto Roofing in Martins Ferry, Ohio. He was a member of the Brilliant Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his mom, Eleanor M. (Jack) Connell of Brilliant; his lifelong companion, Tammy Scott of Brilliant, and her two sons, Justin (Amy) Scott of Beckley, WV and Josh Scott of Lansing, Ohio; along with Justin's son, Parker Scott; a brother, Thomas R. (Karen) Connell of Moundsville, WV; two sisters, Lynne Stewart and her fiancé Luke Holden of Wellsburg, WV and Laurie Sue (Harold) Brautigam of Bradford, PA; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to celebrate David's life on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 12:00 Noon at the Brilliant Presbyterian Church.  Private inurnment at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.
