Darla Joy (Miller) Mayle, 59, of Brilliant, OH, passed away Sunday March 12, 2023 at home.

She was born August 5, 1963 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Clarence "Wimpy" Miller (2002) and Constance "Connie" (Burge) Miller (2013).

Darla retired from Merle Norman where she was a licensed beautician. She graduated from Wheeling Beauty College. She was a very creative artist she enjoyed designing lovely flower arrangements and decorations and had professional cookie making talent. She enjoyed gardening and had many summers of plentiful crops. Darla loved going to Myrtle Beach every summer. She had a heart of gold and a special love for the elderly, while working as a teenager in a nursing home. Darla loved all the animals and has rescued many dogs and cats during her life. She also had a special relationship with her grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and great-aunts.

Surviving are son, Mark Miller-Crawford of Brilliant, OH; a sister Betty Miller of Charleroi, PA; her longtime companion, Jeff Blankenship of Brilliant, OH; an aunt, Valorie Morrocco of Mingo Junction, OH; and several cousins.

In following with Darla's wishes there will be no visitation. The family will have a private celebration of her life at a later date.
