Daniel W. “Danny” Cronin, 57, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday September 22, 2026 at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born August 23, 1969, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Jonathan B. and Mabel (Hashman) Cronin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, David K. Cronin; and a sister, Jean Whitehead.

Until his illness in 2007, Danny worked at Proactive, developing helicopter flight simulator software. He also enjoyed working with computers.

Surviving are a brother, Randy Cronin of Mingo Junction, OH, two sisters, Donna Cronin of Mingo Junction, OH and Beverly Oregon of St. Mary’s, WV; three nephews, Joseph (Jessenia) Oregon, Rey (Lauren) Oregon and Gregory (Amy) Oregon; two nieces, Heather (Chuck) Jordan and Crystal (Ernesto) Cerda; and thirteen great nieces and nephews.

In following with Danny’s wishes private funeral services and burial took place at New Alexandria Cemetery.
