Cynthia A. Shoulders, 71, of Mingo Junction, OH passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, WV.

She was born May 29, 1950 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Andrew and Matilda "Tillie" (Santangelo) Timcho. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Shoulders on January 24, 2011; and a son, Donald A. Shoulders on December 9, 2014.

Cynthia was a homemaker, an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and watching tv, she never missed an episode of the Young and the Restless. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her cat Nibby. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Mingo.

She is survived by a daughter, Teresa (Greg) Rea of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter-in-law, Angela (Tom) Birney of Jewett, OH; two sisters, Darlene Oiler of Mingo Junction, OH and Jenny (Mike) Delauder of Bloomingdale, OH; five grandchildren, Marissa (Matt) Jaskiewicz, Amber Rea, Austin Rea, Tabetha (Joseph) Pinkerton and Ryan Shoulders; a great-granddaughter, Hazel Pinkerton; and one great-grandchild on the way.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Jct. on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. There will also be viewing Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father John Kapitan, Jr. O.F.M. as celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction. The family is requesting that masks be worn at the funeral home.
