Charles E. "Poge" Rogers, Jr., 68, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away suddenly Thursday December 15, 2022 at home.

He was born May 4, 1954 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Charles E. and Alberta M. (Brown) Rogers, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shelvey Jean Rager; a brother, Joseph Rogers; a sister, Martha "Mart" Tanner; and a son-in-law, Phil Glasgow.

Poge was a retired custodian for Indian Creek School District and he used to enjoy hunting and fishing and putting together jigsaw puzzles. He loved the time he spent as a Brilliant Little League softball coach.

He is survived by four step-children, Kimberly Glasgow, of Rayland, OH, William "Chip" Ralston, Jr. of Rayland, OH, Beverly Ralston of Mingo Junction, OH and Roberta "Byrd" (Darrell) Waderker of Brilliant, OH; three sisters, Brenda Brown of Brilliant, OH, Colleen (Jeff) Weaver of Bloomingdale, OH and Linda Keener of Mingo Junction, OH; ten grandchildren, Brandon (Matthew) and Austin (Kylie) Williams, Jennifer and Joshua Glasgow, Chelsey Ralston, Madison Thompson, Alexis (John) and Lacie Knutsen, Cristal (Christopher) Worwa and Kyle Waderker; and three great-grandchildren, Gavin Flaugher, Lyla and Gracie Worwa.

In following with Poge's wishes there will be no services.
