Catherine M. "Kitsy" O'Malley, 92, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away Monday August 26, 2019 in the Carriage Inn of Steubenville.

She was born on her mother's birthday, September 18, 1926 in Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter of the late Howell D. and Lucy Margaret (Jackson) Howell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. "Pat" O'Malley on Jan. 15, 2012; a son, Dale O'Malley on Aug. 31, 2013; a brother, Dr. David Howell; and a sister, Jean Clark.

Kitsy retired in 1952 from the original Mingo Pharmacy where she worked as a clerk, then she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Mingo First United Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy DeLallo and Colleen (Darren) Suter both of Weirton, WV; three grandchildren, Leah (Matthew) Brandt, Benjamin Suter and Jacob Suter; and two great-grandchildren, Patrick Emerson Brandt and Rosalie O'Malley Brandt.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral services at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle, officiating. Entombment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
