CARRIE RITA ZARYCH, 75, Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, in Country Club Manor Nursing Home, Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born Oct. 3, 1940 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas "Tim" & Mary Catherine (Brinskey) Albaugh.

She was a Secretary for the Longo Insurance Agency & Ohio Nuts & Washer company in Mingo,  She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, and for 17 years she traveled the world with her husband who was in the U.S. Air Force.  Former Associations include, PTA President at Al Chiaramonte Elementary School, Volunteer at Red Cross, Mac Dill AFB Hospital, Band Parent/Camp Chaperon, Liturgist at former St. Bernadetts Church, Book Keeper for Annunciation Church Bingo, and the Catholic Womans Club at St. Agnes.

Surviving are her husband, Donald B. Zarych, whom she married on August 20, 1960, a son, Shawn E. Zarych, of Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter, Denise (Darryl) Doty of Dansville, Alabama: two brothers, John "Ron" (Joann) Albaugh of Mingo Junction, OH & Thomas Albaugh of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Sandra (Jim) Petrozzi of Wintersville, OH & Janet (Ken) Pierce of Irwin, PA; and two grandchildren, Dominque & Derek Doty.

Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8 on Sunday at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction.  On Monday, everyone is to meet at the St. Agnes church for Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. James M. Dunfee, as celebrant.  Interment will follow in New Alexandria Cemetery.

On Sunday the Mingo Knights of Columbus will recite the Rosary at 5:45, and Fr. Dunfee will have a Vigil service at 7:45, both at the funeral home.
