Carole J. Maxwell, 84, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Monday July 28, 2025 at Lancia Villa Vista in Steubenville, OH.

She was born October 12, 1940 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Harry E. and Cora E. (Cornelius) Maxwell. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her brother-in-law, Bernie Duresko; and a nephew Christopher Duresko.

Carole was a beautician and she owned Maxwells Magic Mirror from 1965-2002. She was a very active member of Harmony Church of Mingo. She enjoyed quilting and was a great baker of pies and cookies.

Surviving are her sister, Darlene Duresko of Mingo Junction, OH; and her nephew, Brian Duresko and his wife Lori of Rochester, Minnesota.

The family would like to thank Villa Vista for the wonderful care they gave Carole the last 8 years.

Private graveside services at New Alexandria Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carole's memory to the charity of the donors choice.
