Carol L. Snider, 80, of Bloomingdale, OH, passed away Saturday September 23, 2023 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

She was born September 28, 1942 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Edward Marshall and Alice Gay (Law) Barker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. "Bob" Snider on September 27, 2004; four brothers, Blaine, and Mickey Barker; infants, Robert and Ronald Barker; and four sisters, Helen and Janice Barker, Shirley Spurrier and Doris Hennis.

Carol was a dedicated homemaker and Presbyterian by Faith. She enjoyed playing cards with her neighbors. Carol's passion was feeding cats and her hummingbirds.

Surviving are a son, Charles R. (Debra) Snider of Bloomingdale, OH; a daughter, Donna (Vincent) Carlino of Richmond, VA; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Barker (friends since they were 16) of Steubenville, OH and Irene Barker of Weirton,  WV;  six grandchildren, Tina (Greg) Stasiowski, Tonya Thompson, Alicia (Cassian) Braham-Law;  Shannon (Scott) Wicker,   Matthew (Desiree) Snider, and Cynthia (Mike) Morgan;  Carol had eleven great-grandchildren, Speed and Chayce Stasiowski,  Gregory and Mason Gibson, Natalie-Mae and Lincoln Snider, Chelsey and Robbie Parkhill; Camille and Ryker Wicker, and River Morgan.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, OH, on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of her funeral service at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Dean Blythe, officiating. Private interment at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
