Betty Miller, 95, of Mingo Junction, OH passed away on Tuesday February 9, 2016 at Sienna Woods Nursing Home in Wintersville, Ohio.

She was born September 9, 1920, in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edwin and Mary Frances (Burns) Brown. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Miller; a brother, William Brown; and a sister, Virginia Michnowicz.

Betty worked at Sears, JcPenney and the former Ohio Valley Hospital where she was a ward helper. She was a member of the Harmony United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Surviving are her daughter, Jeannie (Thomas) Dimmit of Mingo Junction, Ohio; two grandchildren, George P. (Cathy) Stoddart of Mingo Junction and Lisa (Monty) Montgomery of Louisville, KY; four great-grandchildren, Erin (Nick) Roxby, Matthew (Brittany) Stoddart, Kayla Montgomery and Alexandria Stoddart; a great-great-grandson, Brayden Stoddart; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH, where her funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Sam Davis, officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, Ohio.
