Baerbel F. "Barb" Recinella, 83, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away peacefully Friday June 19, 2020 at home, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born November 18, 1936 in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the late Emil and Edith (Hampe) Raatz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Recinella, Jr. on June 11, 2009; a sister, Rita and brother, Deitor, both of Berlin, Germany.

Baerbel retired from the former Kaufmann's where she was a retail sales manager. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and enjoyed card club with her friends.

Surviving are two sons, Michael Recinella and Jeffrey (Cendi) Recinella, both of Mingo Junction, OH; two daughters, Gina Recinella of Westerville, OH and Lisa (Robert) McComb of Mingo Junction, OH; and five grandchildren, Alana, Jason, Lauren, and Cole Recinella and Alexandria McComb.

By the request of the family private services will be held at Wheeler Funeral Home with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, officiating and burial at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Charity Hospice for the outstanding care they gave Baerbel during this difficult time.
