Art D. "Cookie" Cook, 68, of Steubenville, OH, passed away Saturday October 28, 2023 at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, OH.

He was born April 23, 1955 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Archie Cook and Sarah (Darnoc) Swiger. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Bouchet) Cook on November 14, 2005.

Cookie was a retired police officer from the Steubenville Police Department. He was Christian and enjoyed reading the bible. He also loved spending time with his grandbabies.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Cook of Steubenville, OH; two sons, Joseph and Daniel; and three grandchildren, Faith, Josiah and Cheyanne.

In following with Cookie's request there will be no services.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, OH 43938.
