Anthony "Buddy" Flowers, 79, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2020 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born September 21, 1940 in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Harold "Harry" and Alice (Thompson) Flowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Flowers in 2014; his twin sister, Antonia Flowers; and his former wife, Thomasine Flowers.

Buddy retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. where he worked Security and he also was a retired police officer for the Brilliant Police Department. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a former member of the Smithfield Masonic Lodge #182 and enjoyed spending time in Florida.

Surviving are his daughter, Lori Ann (Rob) Jefferson; a grandson, Matthew Blackett, both of Perry, OH; a brother, Harry Flowers; and two sisters, Annette Anticole and Gail Flowers.
