Agnes M. Mayle, 88, of Brilliant, OH passed away Tuesday February 6, 2018 in the emergency room at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born January 24, 1930 in Brilliant, OH, a daughter of the late James B. and Janie V. "Blue Eyes" (Bell) Crawford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Janie K. Mayle on January 15, 2018; and two brothers, James E. Crawford and an infant brother Burley Crawford.

Agnes was retired from the housekeeping department at the former Ohio Valley Hospital in Steubenville, OH. She was Methodist by Faith.

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Earl R. Mayle, whom she married on May 21, 1952; two sons, Earl James (Marian) Mayle of Oregon, OH and Thomas (Mary) Mayle of Savanah, GA; a sister, Creda Benedict of Brilliant, OH; five grandchildren, Bradley (Cheyenne) Mayle, Marcie Mayle, Mary Kate (Chris) Woloszyn, Lisa Dowell and Meghan Mayle; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Carson, officiating. Private interment will follow at New Alexandria Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed in Agnes's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
