Ace T. Flaherty, 73, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Thursday December 19, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.

He was born June 3, 1951, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Walter S. and Susie Bell (Jones) Flaherty, Jr.

Ace was a retired office technician at Ameritech Phone Company in Steubenville, OH and he also worked in the Janitorial Department for Trinity Health System. He was a member of Kolmont Community Church and the Communication Workers of America and enjoyed electrical stuff and woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Patty (Griffo) Flaherty, whom he married October 18, 1975; three children, Kerry (Dennis) Fitzgibbons of Douglas, MA, Matthew Flaherty of Hampshire, IL and Tracey (Scott) Zborowski of Stockholm, Sweeden; two sisters, Terrie (Doug) Spencer of Mingo Junction, OH and Sally (Frank) Lopatowicz of Akron, OH; and two grandchildren, Riley and Brody Fitzgibbons.

There will be a celebration of Ace's life on what would have been his 74th birthday Tuesday June 3rd at Aracoma Park in Mingo Junction (Large Shelter House) from 3pm until 6pm.
