Vincent J. “Vince” Mannarino, 88, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away on Friday March 16, 2018 in the Steubenville Country Club Manor.
He was born July 15, 1929 in Mingo Junction, Ohio a son of the late Frank and Mary (Coletti) Mannarino.
Vince was a retired stationary engineer at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church. His loves were his family, Notre Dame, the NY Yankees and he was a terrific cook.
Surviving are his wife, Jeanne (Henry) Mannarino; a son, Francis (Patti) Mannarino of Mingo Junction, OH; a daughter, Vanessa (Jake) Harrison of Allison Park, PA; a brother, Joseph Mannarino of Mingo Junction, OH; and four grandchildren, Colton Mannarino, Brandon Pellick, Hunter Harrison and Chase Harrison.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave. Mingo Junction, on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. On Monday everyone please meet at St. Agnes Catholic Church for his Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo.
There will be a Vigil service on Sunday at 7:45 p.m.
