Patrick C. Rychlick, 77, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday April 22, 2018.
He was born October 11, 1940 at home in Mingo Junction, OH, a son of the late Edward and Philomena M. (Ferry) Rychlick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane A. (Anderson) Rychlick on August 12, 2009; and a brother, William E. Rychlick.
Pat graduated from Mingo High School in 1958. After serving his country in the U.S. Marine Corps, he came home to Mingo and was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Jane and father to his children. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp in 2003.
The most important thing is his life was providing for his family. An avid outdoorsman, he was a lifetime member of the Mingo Sportsman Club and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking and sharing those joys with his family.
Surviving are his four children, Diane Rychlick of Phoenix, AZ, Don Rychlick of Mingo Junction, OH, Ed (Amy) Rychlick of Maple Grove, MN, and Patrick J. Rychlick of Steubenville, OH; and five grandchildren, Nicole, Ryan, Adam, Logan and Noah.
Family and friends will be received to celebrate his life at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, on Saturday April 28th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his services at 1:00 p.m.
Family and friends will speak in his honor and burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction, with Military Honors by the Ohio Valley Veterans Squad.
He will be dearly missed.
