My heart is heavy although I have so many happy memories of my very special friend. Myra shared so many stories about her beloved children & grandchildren, special friends, coworkers, classmates and neighbors.
Myra had a big heart for those who played major roles in her life story. I am sorry for the large loss in your lives.
Rest in peace, Myra.
Love,
Toni

To the Family of Myra, I was shocked to learn of Myra's sudden departure. But, only she
could pull off an act like that on her BIRTHDAY!! Myra was my friend from First Grade to
the 12 grade and graduation at BMHS 1958. YEHHHH that was the big bunch. We ALL
were a pretty close group. I think the best! Myra lived a block down Front Street along the
Ohio River from me. Why there were the R.R. Tracks and then the Ohio River. A stones through from
our and hers front porch. We would walk to school together many a time. She always included me in the PJ parties and she and friends had a surprise Birthday 17th party for me. She planned reunions for us all and never took credit for it. She mothered us. 'Well,
some of us:)' I certainly enjoyed my friendship through those years immensely Myra
was a great and kind friend to me. One I will never forget. You all, have been blessed to
have shared part of your lives with this Special Lady, ( Mother, Wife, Grandmother and Friend.)
With Love and Blessings,
Betsy (Mackey) Rayot. (BMHS 58)

I have fun memories of growing up with Myra after we met in grade school. We and other friends were together so much and enjoyed playing together. Though we did not keep in touch after I moved away in the 9th grade, I still have the best memories of Myra. God bless her and her family and friends.

This post will never summarize my emotions. Myra was more than my best friend's mother. She was my second mom. As we move through life, each of us comes into contact with so many people. Few impact our lives in such an impactful way as Myra did for me. She took me in and treated me as part of her family and they all became my second family. I have been blessed to have such amazing memories and will always count myself blessed to have not just known Myra but have her care for me so much. She will be missed by everyone who knew her and I pray for the entire family. Just such an amazing and loving person!

I will miss my friend, Myra. She often stopped by the mall to have lunch with me. I enjoyed our talks and her advice. I loved working with her at Buckeye Local (almost 25 years), and I had so much fun traveling with her (all the way to Las Vegas)! Fly High, My Friend!
