David C. “Cricket” Grimm, 51, of Wintersville, OH, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2019.
He was born July 26, 1967 in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Robert L. and Mildred M. (Anderson) Grimm, Sr.
Cricket was a truck driver and mail carrier for Robert M. Neff, Inc. He was a member of Jefferson Sportsman Club and the NRA; and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed carpentry and woodworking; and especially spending time with his great-nephews.
Surviving are his fiancé, Gina Pizzoferrato of Wintersville, OH; two siblings, Robert (Dayle) Grimm, Jr. of Bloomingdale, OH and Tammy Wright of Mingo Junction, OH; a niece, Amanda “Mandy” Wright (Lowell Bell) of Mingo Junction, OH; three great-nephews, Blake Miller, Lance and Chase Bell; a nephew, Justin Grimm of Louisville, KY; a sister-in-law, Lisa Pizzoferrato-DeArdo of Mingo Junction, OH; and close friends, Ryan “Stretch” Sauvain, Frankie “Flap” Guisto, Robert “Fuzzy” Frazee, Chuckie Hauber, Matt Smarrella and Phil and Alice Wong.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction, on Friday from 3-8 p.m. and also on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral services at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Herb Fletcher, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
