Carl Huggins Obituary

Carl A. Huggins, 58, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Thursday December 20, 2018 at home.

He was born July 20, 1960 in Steubenville, OH, the son of the late Adrian D. and Edna V. (Strohmeyer) Huggins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard D. Huggins.

Carl served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a wandering spirit and traveled to all of the states except for Hawaii. He was very kind hearted and loved his family. Carl enjoyed watching John Wayne movies and was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Surviving are three brothers, Albert (Cathy) Huggins of Lumber Bridge, NC, Terry (Teresa) Huggins and Gary (Sally) Huggins, both of Mingo Junction, OH; four sisters, Adrianne Harris, Sadie (Tom) Devore, Rachel (John) Wardle and Essy (the late Randy) DiCarlo, all of Mingo Junction, OH; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a celebration of Carl’s life at the Crossroads Christian Church, 110 Springdale Ave., Wintersville, OH, on Thursday December 27th at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) with Chaplain Dana Campbell, officiating. A luncheon at the church will follow his memorial service.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Charity Hospice, Inc., PO Box 2483 Wintersville, OH  43953.
