Pat McGough

Pat McGough, 88, of Brilliant, OH passed away Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast in Miramar, FL.

She was born November 23, 1929 in Coshocton, Ohio, a daughter of the late David Morrison and Leota (Hunter) Morrison Matthews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Jack” McGough; a sister, Bette Wood; and her step-father, William Matthews.

Pat was a homemaker and a member of both the Brilliant Presbyterian Church and the Wells Township Senior Citizen Club. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and line dancing.

Surviving are two daughters, Nancy (Mark) Benton of Freeport, FL and Carol (Ralph) Stinard of Steubenville, OH; five grandchildren, Jill Benton and her husband Marty Bush, Corey (Margaret) Benton, Patrick Benton and his fiancé Jenna Laughlin, Todd (Nicole) Stinard and Lori Stinard and her husband Louie Kosegi; and seven great-grandchildren, Jonah, Anderson and Katelyn Benton, Jax and Harper Bush, and Sara and Carson Stinard.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-3 and 5-7 at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant where her funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kenn Sickle, officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville, OH.
