Michael “Kenna” Kendrach, of Mingo Junction, Ohio passed away Wednesday November 9, 2016 on his 103rd birthday at Lancia Villa Vista Nursing Home in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born November 9, 1913 in Mingo Junction, Ohio, a son of the late John and Anna (Farkas) Kendrach. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Kendrach; and two sisters, Bertha Kendrach and Margaret Appleby.
Kenna worked for Steel Service and also the Village of Mingo Junction. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Chapman and her husband Marion of St. Petersburg, FL.
Friends will be received at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church on Friday from 9:00 until the time of his Requiem Devine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., with Reverend Father John Kapitan, Jr. O.F.M. as celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Steubenville.
